This year and for the first time, PPE took part in the JEC ASIA Singapore. PPE shared a booth with ESI Group.
Indeed,
the complementary solutions provided by the 2 entities are not to demonstrate:
- PPE provides technology transfers for closed processes (RTM, Infusion, and derivate processes) from process definition and optimization to technology implementation on site, going through
prototype manufacturing on its workshop. (http://www.ppe.asso.fr)
- ESI supplies software solutions for composites, and mainly PAM RTM for resin filling simulation. (http://www.esi-group.com).
PPE is an historic customer and user of PAM RTM software.
The objective for PPE was to evaluate the Asian market in term of business opportunity regarding:
- Technology transfers,
- Material characterization dedicated to resin flow simulation : Permeability measurements (in-plane [XX and YY] and out-of-plane [ZZ]
- Trainings to be performed in PPE facility or at customer location
Visit of the French Ambassador of Singapore, with Mrs Frederique MUTEL (JEC President).
It has also been a good opportunity to make a TSP (Technical Sale Conference) during the show on the “Benefits of virtual manufacturing in process implementation.
Case study: 40 feet Yacht inner liner produced in Light RTM”. You can access the pdf of the presentation by clicking here.
